Rifle Orientation for LPRGC Members
- Rifle Range orientation only- no shooting at this event
- No equipment required

- Rifle Range Orientation required for Rifle Range Shooting Qualification portion of process
- Rifle Range Shooting Qualification to be held on 4th Saturday of every Month

Come join us for Adult Smallbore shooting on the New Indoor Range shooting at 50’. This event is geared towards shooters engaging in the NRA MQP program, but all shooters are welcome! Loaner gear is available. The range fee is $10.00 per night. Hope to see you there!

Greetings!  The Rifle Clinic will be configured with 3 Stations- Site-In, 50 Yard Shooting Techniques, and 100 Yard Techniques.  To ensure that we have sufficient time to spend on each area, I've set up the sign-in slots for 1/2 hour blocks- please only sign up for 1 station per block.  Our focus will be on the basics of marksmanship- NPOA, breath control, trigger control, sight picture and the fundamentals of accuracy.  You will receive 1 on 1 instruction from an NRA certified Rifle Instructor on these characteristics and we'll be happy to answer any questions you might have.

- You must have attended a Rifle Range Orientation prior to attending the Shooting Qualification event
- Please bring your rifle, eye and ear protection, and 40-50 rounds of ammunition
- Basic boresighting will be available for new optics/rifles

This event is intended for those who wish to practice shooting in multiple positions (prone, seated, kneeling, standing).  All shooting will be done at 100 yards.  Please bring your own rifle and ammunition- 50-100 rounds should be sufficient.  You will practice shooting in whichever positions you want to shoot from under instruction of an NRA Instructor.  Come on out to get tips, tricks, and trigger time in the different positions.  This is a great way to practice for the Multiple Position Bay Qualification test!

There are no pre-requisites for attendance at this class, though NRA Basic Rifle is strongly recommended.
