Wednesday Night Clinics

Wednesday night trap clinics are open to all LPRGC club members and invited guests of club members (club member must possess a guest pass and the guest must sign one of the liability waiver forms found next to the sign in book in the vestibule).  LPRGC stresses safety and every new shooter will be given a copy of the range rules before working with one of our NRA certified instructors.  The Wednesday Night Trap Clinic is not in session between the second Thursday of November through the end of February the following year.

New shooters must register in advance for one 45-minute introductory session – either 6PM or 6:45PM.

You must bring your own shotgun, ammunition, and eye/ear protection.  12 gauge ammunition is available for sale at the registration desk.

Please direct any questions to Brett Wells, Trap Chairman, at trap@lprgc.org.

Practice Traps Open: 5:00 – 8:00 (or when we run out of shooters)

Shooters with some experience in clay target sports can ask to work with an NRA certified instructor during a practice round.  CLICK HERE to email the Trap Chairman for more information.

New shooters may get some useful tips from this guide that was published by Remington.  Click HERE to view a copy.

Any member who is not interested in shooting trap, but wishes to learn how to safely operate their shotgun, can meet with the Trap Chairman immediately after the monthly work party.  Members will have the opportunity to become familiar with their firearm by shooting the patterning board and stationary targets under supervised conditions.

12 gauge ammunition is available for sale at the front desk.  LPRGC does not offer rental shotguns for any of our programs.
