Rules and Bylaws

The Club Rules and Bylaws are revised from time to time as the club grows and changes. Please check back regularly for updates, and feel free to contact the appropriate committee chairman with any questions. Rules are also posted on the ranges for your convenience.

Recent Bylaw Changes:

July 7, 2020 – Election procedure rewrite
September 6, 2019 – Board of Directors elected directly by the membership, eliminating the “At Large” pool of directors.

Recent Rule Changes:

May 2012 – Shotgun qualification added for the 25-yard range.
July 2014 – Updated bylaws with corporate memberships, re-added .22lr 25-yard range rules.
September 2014 – Added Enhanced Spouse/Partner Memberships
August 2015 – Prohibited bump fire/slide fire stocks on the 100-yard range.
April 2016 – Created a parallel rate structure for members joining after April 2016.
February 2017 – Reorganized and condensed rules into a new structure. Major overhaul.
May 2017 – Banned binary triggers, allowed 3 Nambu cartridges, clarified action shooting rule.
November 2017 – Allowed members to electronically sign in if they do not need to do guest waivers and are using an electronically locked range.
May 1, 2018 – General Rule # 9 revised, modifying Range Qualifications and Pistol Caliber Carbine Rules.
Nov 28, 2018 – Action Certification Endorsement Rule #6 revised, added Action Eligible statement
Jan 30, 2019 – Trap rules update, change to minimum shooting distance rule
September 25, 2019 – Clarified Pistol caliber Rifles on the 25-yard range.
Jan 3, 2020 – Added 7.62x25mm Tokarev to indoor range caliber list
Feb 4, 2020 – Updated Trap rules for allowable shot sizes, added .44 special and .44 magnum to PCC Rules.

January 18, 2022 – Updated range hours to move May to 8pm

Feb 7, 2023 – removed fee for LEO to take Action qualifier

November 1, 2023 – clarified Rifle Range rules
