Do you have or know a junior (age 11-18) who is interested in shooting trap? Basic shotgun is the place to begin.
In this course students will gain the Knowledge, Skills and Attitude necessary to safely and confidently handle a shotgun whether it’s in the field or on the trap line. This course is a prerequisite for participating in the LPRGC Junior Trap program. Participants will learn the following:
- Shotgun Knowledge and Safe Handling
- Ammunition Knowledge and the Fundamentals of Shotgun Shooting
- Firing the First Shots
- Shotgun Shooting Skills Practial Exercises
- Shotgun Games and Activities
In addition, participants will earn their first patch in the Winchester Marksmanship program.
